QWC Celebrates 20 years of Supporting Queensland

The Queensland Writers Centre  has been supporting writers all over Queensland and to celebrate are organising Queensland Writer's week from the 10th to 16th October. If you are thinking you would like to be involved in a great occasion like this visit the Queensland Writer's Week website to register your expression of interest. 

National Poetry Week

Just in case you didn't know National Poetry week runs from the 7th to11th of September this year. If you like to know more information I recommend you skip over to The Australian Poetry Website. Joining groups, attending festivals and social networking are great ways to build your profile as a poet. I say take every opportunity you get with both hands.

Advertise your skills

Build your profile as a Poet on line by going to Skill Pages -Social Network Site Skills pages allows you to seek opportunities and advertise your skills. As well as linking your skills page to your other networking site such as Facebook, Twitter, Google and Yahoo accounts.
